Laurentis joins Canadian Council for Indigenous Business
Laurentis Energy Partners (Laurentis) is proud to take another step forward on the company’s path to reconciliation by becoming a member of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB).
The CCIB’s mission is to build stronger connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses and communities. It boasts more than 2,300 members and provides valuable programming, training, and networking opportunities.
As a member of CCIB, Laurentis will gain access to the council’s extensive supplier database and can review the products and services offered by certified Indigenous-owned and operated businesses. Laurentis is guided by an Indigenous procurement policy and commits to sourcing from Indigenous suppliers, where possible.
Laurentis unveiled the company’s first Reconciliation Action Plan this year, which includes commitments related to Indigenous procurement and employment as part of its community and economic engagement pillar and looks forward to progressing these commitments through its membership with CCIB.
