Laurentis marks Indigenous History Month with donation to Indspire

In recognition of Indigenous History Month, Laurentis Energy Partners (Laurentis) is pleased to make a donation to Indspire through the company’s Powering Reconciliation Fund to help improve the lives of Indigenous youth through education.

This is the second donation Laurentis has made through the fund. As part of the Community and Economic Engagement pillar of its Reconciliation Action Plan, Laurentis is committed to allocating a percentage of its annual donation budget to Indigenous charities, Indigenous-owned philanthropic organizations, and Indigenous capacity-building organizations.

Indspire is a registered charity that serves First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students in remote communities, rural areas and urban centres across Canada. Indspire disburses financial awards, delivers programs, and shares resources with the goal of increasing graduation rates for Indigenous students. It also provides educator resources that serve educators, communities, rural areas, and other stakeholders who are committed to improving success rates for Indigenous students in kindergarten through Grade 12.

Laurentis is dedicated taking meaningful action to advance reconciliation, working closely with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations. Indspire’s mission to improve lives through education and inspiring achievement aligns with Laurentis’s corporate values of people, excellence, and citizenship.
