Laurentis announces new President and Chief Executive Officer

Laurentis Energy Partners (Laurentis), a subsidiary of Ontario Power Generation (OPG), has announced the appointment of Leslie McWilliams as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective Aug.18, 2025.

Leslie succeeds Jason Van Wart, who has advised the Laurentis Board of Directors that he will be pursuing new opportunities after a successful career with OPG and Laurentis.

The organization thanks Jason for his many contributions over his 22-year career at OPG, and seven years in leadership roles with Laurentis, during which time Laurentis expanded its position as a nuclear services provider and world-leading supplier of medical isotopes.

With more than 25 years of experience at OPG, Leslie has held a range of senior roles across the company, most recently serving as Deputy Senior Vice President at Darlington Nuclear. She brings a strong background in engineering, operations, and leadership to her new role at Laurentis.
